CARTOON THEATRE
Cartoon Theatre brings together the best of animation and live performance to create a unique type of theatre. By the use of lighting and front projection we are able to create a magical performance space of constantly changing imagery that the performers can respond to and interact with in real time.
Cartoon theatre is part of the multi-media company Arts in Motion. The company has been working in and experimenting with projected images in theatre since the 1990’s. Originally a children’s theatre company (Clown Jewels) we branched out into providing services and integrating animation and video in all forms of theatre and dance.
The company is always keen to work on collaborative projects and can offer rehearsal space, video/animation and blue screen studio facilities, and also set design and construction skills at our company base at Evanton.
We also provide workshops in our techniques for all skill levels.
